Feeling out of sorts, cranky or off centre…here is what you can do…it changed me.
I was feeling so cranky and out of sorts this morning, which rarely happens these days. But what’s good about it is I can share with you how quickly a change can occur, leaving us all at peace and centred. I was almost lost and buried in the way I felt until I remembered to just listen to and accept all the feelings of being irritable, cranky, and off centre, rather than struggle with them. And then I noticed a change. I felt a gentle Presence, which enveloped me with a cloud of peace. All the negative feelings disappeared. I was left feeling free and light instead of stuck and was able to continue on in my day with gratitude. I also became aware to go gently as I had been very busy. What I used to do many years ago was to dump these feelings on others, or begin belting myself up with judgements and criticisms. This only made me feel even worse and trapped me even further. Many people have shared with me that they have done the same to themselves. So have a go at listening to yourself next time you get out of sorts or cranky, and embrace your ‘cranky’ part as you would a little child who is struggling. See what happens. You will be loving yourself unconditionally and may experience the Presence of Unconditional Love envelope you too.
